Check out the details of our monthly program in the Vereinsheim and Projektraum during August 2012.

Wendy and Lucy
Film Night / 9pm / Film 10pm
Old Joy director Kelly Reichardt crafts this intimate tale of Wendy, an alienated Indiana woman who packs up her car and sets her sights on Alaska. When her car breaks down in Oregon, however, the thin fabric of her financial situation comes apart, and she confronts a series of increasingly dire economic decisions, with far-raging repercussions for herself and Lucy. Outdoor screening weather permitting.
Wendy And Lucy addresses issues of sympathy and generosity at the edges of American life, revealing the limits and depths of people’s duty to each other in tough times.

During the uprising sixty people were killed by government forces. Outdoor screening weather permitting.
