Spawned from the battlefields around the globe, BOXWARS is a fight of epic proportions. Throughout the ages, cardboard warriors have fought in snowy fields in Canada, rubbish-filled parks in Edinburgh, and on inner city street asphalt in Australia.
And now BOXWARS is happening here, in Berlin!
We provide cardboard, craft knives and tape for you to make your very own set of cardboard armour and weapons. There are no limits to your creation… the bigger and badder the better!
You will have a maximum of 6 hours to cut, sculpt, build, mould, tape and fit your masterpiece. (Of course you could make it in 10 minutes, but it will probably be pretty shitty)
THEN WE FIGHT.
Once challengers take their place in the arena (Mindpirates backyard) and are prepared for the onslaught of physical pain, our very special MC and guest DJ HellDrop will take matters into their own hands. Then there will be no turning back. Once warriors are engaged in battle, the winner will be the last man or woman standing – with costume intact.
So start thinking now about your victory, whether it is with cardboard bomber knockers, spears, or as a two-headed monster, a turtle shell, a skeleton seagull, who cares!!
